Neil Larsen's "Sudden Samba" was a smooth jazz hit in 1978.  The tune is fun to play and improvise over, and a great addition to your repertoire.  First learn how to play the rhythmic melody in single notes then with octaves and also play the B section harmonized in thirds. In the improv section Rich starts by showing three positions for each of the scales and how to combine the two scales so they are accessible within one position and how to play those scale in octaves.  In the second improv study Rich demonstrates the use of major scales or relative natural minor first as single notes, then harmonized in thirds in a Benson octave style as well as how to use a harmonic minor scale to bring out an altered darker sound.  A total of 77 minutes of video instruction demonstrated up close and slowly with printable PDF in tab and notation.  Also includes two Mp3 different practice tracks in two different tempos.

Includes these lessons.
